Position Summary
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants at the Postdoctoral level. Dr. Zhang’s lab is focusing on identification of genetic and epigenetic alterations in human cancer cells and understanding how these alterations contribute to tumor development, therapeutic resistance, and tumor-immune interactions in solid cancers. Dr. Zhang’s lab has identified some genes involving in the modulation of tumor microenvironment and tumor immune evasion, and developed novel therapeutic strategies in preclinical models (Fang Y, et al., JCI 2021, Zhou Z., et al., Nature BME 2021, Tao Y, et al., Adv Sci 2024). Dr. Zhang’s lab has developed a number of technical platforms that facilitate the current research, including mouse tumor models, organoid models, and novel drug delivery systems.
