Phlebotomist (Valenzuela) | Onsite

Work Location: 100% Onsite (Valenzuela)

Schedule: Shifting (Clinic Operations 6am-10pm)

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science, Phlebotomy, or equivalent health sciences course
• License / Certifications: MUST HAVE Licensed Phlebotomist or Registered Medical Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage
• OPEN TO FRESH GRADS WITH LICENSE: Med-Tech License is a MUST

Knowledge:

• Knowledgeable in infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials 
• Understanding of veins, circulation, and human body systems related to blood collection 
• Basic knowledge of phlebotomy tools, centrifuges, and sample storage requirements

Skills: 

• Proficient in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and proper specimen handling
• Efficiently handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinic or laboratory setting 
• Ability to address challenging draws, difficult veins, or unexpected patient reactions 
• Has good communication and people skills
