Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Technician at d'Youville Pavilion is an essential member of the patient care team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this role is responsible for the direct and indirect patient care of residents, creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications via oral, topical, vaginal, rectal routes, and inhalation.
• Chart all medications given, omitted, or refused.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and mealtimes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course.
• Active on Maine CNA registry.
• Graduate of Maine State-approved Certified Medication Administration program.
• At least 1 year of previous CNA experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
