Schedule

Evening shift, 8 hours. Must be able to work weekends, with a minimum of every other weekend required.

Job Description

A qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician is needed to provide laboratory services. Candidates must be flexible in their assignments, able to work rotating shifts, and potentially be moved as necessary to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high complexity testing, including microscopy and immunohematology.
  • Participate in weekly Blood Bank rotations with other laboratory staff.
  • Conduct phlebotomy as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience required.
  • Prior travel experience is necessary.
  • Experience with EPIC within the last 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
  • Certification from ASCP or AMT is required.
