Medical Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry

5x8s rotation, from 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Job Description

Under direct supervision by a laboratory technologist, leader, and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, this role involves performing select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens. The candidate will utilize manual techniques, laboratory instruments, and information systems, and may perform phlebotomy as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.
• Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
• A minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in this role or a similar one.
• Experience with Beckman Coulter equipment, particularly with AU system preferred.
• Candidates with Sunquest LIS experience and automation experience are preferred.
