Job Description

Valley View is offering an exciting opportunity for a traveling Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) or Technician to join our Laboratory team! In this role, you will collect and receive specimens for testing, carry out chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests, and operate both manual and automated lab equipment to analyze specimens.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other laboratory tests.
• Operate manual and automated lab equipment for specimen analysis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• CANDIDATE MUST HAVE MICROBIOLOGY AND MEDITECH EXPERIENCE.
• Minimum of 5 years microbiology plate reading and/or supervisory experience in microbiology.
• Medical Technician (ASCP): Associate degree and Current Medical Technician Registration by ASCP or AMT.
• Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP): Bachelor's Degree and Current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT.
• Two years of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist)/Technician required.
• Must have Flu Vaccine, no exemptions.
