What you will be doing:

  • Collect and arrange physical specimens such as blood, swab, urine, and stool for diagnosis.
  • Track collected blood samples by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection; maintain daily tallies of collections performed.
  • Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and/or electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
  • Explain tests to patients and answer any questions they might have.
  • Be responsible for administrative duties such as billing and handling of cash.

What are we looking for?

  • HSC Holder with Science subject in preference
  • HCA or a Professional Certificate in Laboratory Techniques is desired
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar field
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
