Laboratory Assistant II

Up to $4,500 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility

Performs routine technical and clerical functions. Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens. Greets and directs laboratory visitors at front desk.  Answers incoming phone calls.

• Performs related duties as required.

• • Experience:  1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program 
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred
  • Experience: Basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience
  • Education: Completion of a phlebotomy program
• Certification: Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar
