Histotech I - Pathology Lab

POSITION SUMMARY:   The Histotechnologist Trainee is responsible for performing all histology duties of the department, except those for which high complexity qualifications are required (Histotech II) as well as performing the duties of the Histology Lab Assistant when needed.     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   High school diploma or equivalent, required At the end of the training period (minimum of one year) may advance to Histotech I at the discretion of the Histology Supervisor, Clinical Manager and pathologist, based on competency assessments and ability to perform histology tasks independently and without direct supervision.    WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 5:30AM - 2:00PM
