Clinical Technologist Cardiac, Cape Town

We are seeking a clinical technologist for a cardiology practice in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting a variety of diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), carotid dopplers, stress tests, echocardiograms etc.

• Perform various procedures such as blood draws, administering medications, and setting up and monitoring patients on various machines.

• Maintaining equipment

• Assist in Cathlab with coronary angiograms, pacemakers, TAVI, LAA Plug, CTO etc.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, physicians, and other clinical technologists to provide quality patient care.

• Maintaining patient records

• Educate patients on the procedures they will be undergoing, the expected outcomes, and any necessary precautions.

• Participating in research.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• B Tech Clin Tech

• Registration with the HPCSA

• At least 3 years' experience as a Cardiac Technologist

• PSC in cardiac technology & BSE will be advantageous

• Computer literate

• Afrikaans fluency is essential / non negotiable

Monday to Friday, 08h00 17h00
