Short Description
Southwest Pathology Services (SPS) in Somerset has an exciting opportunity for a band 7 Team Manager who wants to lead the haematology section in our Hub laboratory. We are seeking for an individual who is dedicated to providing a high-quality patient centric service and is enthusiastic about mentoring and sharing their knowledge.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the BMS haematology department as part of the highly effective Blood Sciences management team. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the 24/7 service and maintaining UKAS accreditation for the Haematology and Coagulation section and be responsible for line management, supervision and training of the excellent Biomedical Scientist team at SPS
SYNLAB UK & Ireland have established experience of working in partnership with the NHS to deliver and improve pathology services through its existing pathology joint ventures.
